"The 2020 Syrah on Shale sees 50% whole cluster fruit. This is more confit on the nose compared to the Sandstone with more red fruit and perhaps a little jammier. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, fine depth, quite grippy with good structure; touches of black olive and graphite present on the finish. Peter-Allan Finlayson prefers this to the SandstoneµI might beg to differ!"
