- 38% Grenache Noir, 36% Syrah, 10% Pinotage, 9% Carignan & 7% Cinsault
- Fruit sourced from granite soils from the Paardeberg, blended with structured shale/schists from the east, clay-rich soils from the north and iron mixed soils from the west
- Produced in a similar fashion to David & Nadia’s Grenache in terms of a long, gentle extraction
- Hand harvested
- Both Grenache and Syrah were fermented and matured in a concrete vessel
- The Pinotage was fermented and aged in a 4,100L foudre
- The rest of the components were fermented and matured in old 500L neutral French oak barrels
- 50% on average whole bunches then pressed off
- Bottle aged for 18 months before release
