"Tense and electric, offering Amalfi lemons, chalk and flint with highlights of smoky, toasty reduction. The pure, crystalline palate shows just enough fleshy fruit to soften the racy acidity, with a lovely salty finish that lasts for minutes. From a high-elevation site, this is still very nervy but will age wonderfully, further revealing its complexity. A terrific wine of the highest order."
