In classic Leopold Bros fashion, this novel lime cordial is made by fermenting and distilling Persian limes from Veracruz, Mexico, as an eau-de-vie using the distillery’s hybrid copper pot stills. Double distilled, with additional peels added for the second distillation, the spirit is then sweetened and acidified with house-made lactic acid produced from fermented whiskey mash skimmings. Use this elegant cordial to add verdant lime freshness and balanced acidity to Gimlets, Gin & Tonics, or to bolster any cocktail that calls for fresh lime juice.
