Single Malt Whisky, 'Apex - Dead Sea Whisky'

• Single malt whisky produced by Milk & Honey Distillery in Tel Aviv, Israel
• Aged 3 years in varying cask types on the coast of the Dead Sea, the lowest land-based elevation on Earth
• French vanilla and mocha with notes of cigar box on the nose; the palate opens with black tea leaves followed by a powerful wave of warm baking spice, dark cocoa powder, and crushed white peppercorn. The finish is long, exhibiting candied ginger and clove joined by a bouquet of toasted herbs and coarse sea salt.

As part of the Apex Dead Sea project, an array of casks varying in type and size were placed on the roof of a hotel on the coast of the Dead Sea and exposed to the harsh and dynamic weather for one year of the whisky’s entire aging period. The result was almost 25% angel’s share and an intense whisky that reflects the unrelenting climate in which it was forged.
