- Fruit sourced from Best’s Concongella Vineyard (including plantings from 1866) and from several other neighboring growers
- Granite subsoils with red clay loam and granite/quartz gravels on vines dating back to the 1970’s
- A small portion of whole bunch is fermented in tank
- Aged for 12 months in French oak, including 2,500-3,000L French foudres, with some that are over 100 years old
