"In 2024 (a very calm growing season), there was lots of rain, but much like the Chards, the Sauvignon Blanc was on schedule for budbreak and had better fruit set than in 2023. The 2024 Sauvignon Blanc L'Après-Midi is a bright uniform straw color, with 94% Sauvignon Blanc and the addition of 6% Semillon. It's aromatic and I love the refreshing texture, chalkiness, and mouthwatering lift it has on the palate. It shows waxy notes but leans more savory, with melon rind, salty lime, and grapefruit. Offering an elegant perfume without being blowsy or overly sweet, it has a lot of charm now and can drink well over the coming 5-7 years. These are some of the best Sauvignon Blancs from the region, hands down, and I love the mineral tension and energy this one closes with."

"The 2024 Sauvignon Blanc L™Après-Midi contains 6% Sémillon. It matured in around 15% new French oak and was bottled the spring after the harvest. It has continually unfurling scents of flint, white peach, tarragon, lemongrass, graham cracker, chamomile and honey. The full-bodied palate is bursting with layers of flinty stone and citrus fruit, and it has a lifted, silky texture. It™s balanced by succulent acidity and has a long, perfumed finish. 2,162 cases were made."

"The 2024 Sauvignon Blanc L'Apres-Midi is a powerful, vibrant Knights Valley wine from mountain vineyards that range from 1,000 to 1,400 feet in elevation. This structured, potent Sauvignon Blanc is very much a wine for the dinner table. Chalk, mint, white pepper, slate and lemon oil build nicely into the taut, salivating finish."
