"The 2025 Rose Cistercien, a blend of Zweigelt, St. Laurent and Pinot Noir, is an explosively textural wine that has undergone some secondary fermentation in bottle. That said, it's a very fun, wild ride. Spritzy, mousse-like bubbles carry a raging river of fresh wild strawberry, limestone-like mineral cut and deep, orange-peel-like pithiness. This is so chiseled, not to mention utterly distinctive and super refreshing. What an interesting, joyful quaff."

"The 2024 Rosé Cistercien is a deeply mineral wine. Acids here are driving and persistent, cutting like a tornado across a cornfield. The intensely chalky, rocky minerality is the main attraction, as there™s not much fruit or aromatic expression to speak of. That said, I like this for its distinctiveness and particularly terroir-driven feel"something that is highly unique in the world of Rosé."
