"This wonderfully fragrant riesling has notes of lemon peel, peaches, persimmon and rosemary. The attractive fresh-herb character continues on the palate, which is medium-bodied yet packs in plenty of flavor."

"This is a beautiful wine, ripe and well rounded but with a fantastic mineral energy that makes it feel lighter than it really is (medium- to full-bodied). Terrific candied-orange and spice complexity, all of it deftly underlined by fine, generous tannins. Drink or hold."

"The 2023 Riesling Ried Gaisberg comes from a mix of soils in this heterogeneous site, uniting amphibolite, gneiss and schist. Just a touch of flint crackles alongside tender tangerine and lemon, casting Riesling's citrus spell. The palate homes in on its citrus nature, exquisitely so, showcasing nuances of lemon, tangerine and ripe Seville orange. Taut, zesty, gorgeous, bright and so beautifully long."

"The 2021 Riesling Ried Gaisberg is on gneiss, schist and amphibolite. Crushed ivy and citrus leaf overlay an almost savory, salty notion of wet earth. The palate is rounded and juicy"almost bouncy with lively energy. Bright, lemon-fringed stone fruit notes skip away in such a joyful fashion that the underlying stony seriousness is almost skipped over. In coming years, the stoniness will gain the upper hand, but, for now, the playfulness of these aromas"leafy top notes and citric charm"quite rightly enjoy the limelight. This is lovely and slender, with a serious, stony, cool core and a beautifully long finish. (Bone-dry)"

"The 2021 Ried Gaisberg 1–TW offers a clear, very aromatic, finely spiced, dense and yeasty nose with partly concentrated and overripe fruit notes. It is elegant and juicy on the palate as well as intense and delicately creamy, with well-integrated acidity. It has a complex, well-structured and salty finish with good length. This is a surprisingly baroque style for this vintage and with corresponding richness. It is quite loud overall but still young. 13.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at Schloss Grafenegg, September 2023."
