"This wine exhibits impressive energy and restraint despite its powerful, austere tannins, which will require at least two more years to soften. Notes of mineral, chalk, and grilled herbs complement a hint of balsamic within a fresh black cherry context. The full-bodied palate is chewy, emphasizing structure over flesh, culminating in a long, tightly wound finish. Made from biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification, it is an authentic Ribera del Duero that can be approached starting in 2027."

"The 2020 Torremilanos has a nose of ripe berries with an herbal touch, notes of decayed leaves and earth. The profile is somewhere between modern and more classical, with a velvety mouthfeel, good ripeness, flavors of ripe fruit, spice and an earthy twist in the finish. It's powerful and ripe at 14.5% alcohol but with finesse. 86,593 bottles and some smaller and larger formats produced. It was bottled in February 2023."
