"I love the pale, ethereal, elegant and perfumed red 2021 Dominio Do Bibei, a fine-boned red blend dominated by the Brancellao grape (there's some 5% Maourat¢n and Grao Negro). The destemmed grapes fermented in French oak vats, followed by malolactic in 500-liter barrels, and the wine matured in those barrels for 15 months and then a further nine months in a 1,500-liter oak foudre. It has a moderate 13.1% alcohol and a pH of 3.6. It's musky, complex, ever-changing in the glass, nuanced and tasty, with very fine tannins, a silky texture and great purity, precision and symmetry. This is pain delicious. Bravo! 3,600 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2024."

"The 2020 Dominio do Bibei is 93% Brancellao, 5% Mouratón and 2% Grao Negro. It opens with pure cherry, peach, blackberry and a subtle hint of well-integrated oak alongside dried flowers. This is intense and expressive, with grippy tannins, lightness and lift. It has an appealing structure and should age very well. The 2020 is a red with strong local character."

"This is the winery's most delicate wine. Subtle, aerial and with an outstanding minerality. It is a very burgundian expression and the demonstration of great refinement from Ribeira Sacra. I like finding in it such a deep aroma and complete palate but with such a delicate texture. Subtlety of great expression in the glass.ÿ(FC)"
