"The 2021 Lapola comes from Val do Bibei, Ribeira Sacra and aged for nine months in oak barrels. It is yellow in hue, with hints of soft mushrooms, apples and wild herbs alongside a touch of kumquat. Medium-bodied and creamy, with vibrant acidity, it tapers off with notes of fennel and oregano. The 2021 is energetic, flavorful and creamy, with a hint of subtle oak on the finish."

"It is a flinty and very delicate wine. It has a deep salinity and is very savoury. It clearly has a mineral expression and will grow in the bottle. One of the most delicate wines you can taste from Ribeira Sacra. Lots of tension and a delicate touch of arbutus at the back palate. Purity in the glass. (FC) 13.5%Drink 2024 † 2034"
