"The 2023 Aliaxe blends 60% Caíño, 30% Espadeiro and 10% Loureiro from Meaño, all planted in Sanxenxo, Rías Baixas. Initially marked by carbonic notes and candy-like aromas of banana, it evolves toward cherry and soft guinda, the latter leading the profile. Fresh, with fine tannins and high acidity, this is a delicate, energetic red at 12% alcohol. The 2023 aged in barrel."

"There is something slightly blurry in the 2023 Aliaxe. It doesn't have the clarity, purity and precision of the 2022 I tasted next to it. It was a year with average temperatures and rain. The wine was produced with 60% Caíño and 20% each Espadeiro and Loureiro Tinto, fermented in open-top vats with 30 days of maceration and matured in neutral 220- and 300-liter French oak barrels for 16 months. It has notable acidity (7.1 grams) and flavors of acid berries. 1,800 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2025."
