"Made from three different vineyards around Gratallops, the 2023 Rosat is full-bodied, but tastes lean and crisp, fully balanced between the acidity, tannin, and oak. Dazzling in tart cranberry, it has a sublime texture with light grip, a sophisticated, savory, not overly fruity wine that,s long and earthy, more herb than berry. Drink now and for the next 10-12 years."

"The 2023 Rosat Vi de Vila Gratallops from Priorat blends 60% Garnatxa Negra, 20% Cariñena and 20% Macabeu. Conceived as the opposite of a Provençal Rosé, it follows an oak-driven style. Quince and rose open the bouquet, with oak adding complexity. Intense and textured, it offers grippy richness and navigates a very different stylistic sea. Complex and characterful, it finishes with a kick of alcohol."

"Remarkable depth for a ros, wine; cranberry, raspberry and pomegranate fruits, with a wet stone character underpinning the ripe fruit and some delicate florals to be teased out. Far more substantial than your typical ros, wine. Very refreshing and with a touch of grip on the palate, too! 2024-2034"

"They produced a village rosé, the 2022 Gratallops Vi de Villa Rosat, the second vintage of this pale rosé produced with a blend of Garnacha, Cariñena and white Macabeu. The aim is to produce a gastronomical rosé, with complexity, not fruit driven and with some aging potential. It's not a shy wine at 14% alcohol, and it has a powerful palate with good balance. Despite the pink color, the feeling is that it could be a white wine, especially the nose, which is full of aromatic herbs and flowers, hints of dry hay and straw and a spicy twist, with a notable absence of fruity aromas. It has a serious, medium-bodied and balanced palate, tasty, savory, almost salty, with a velvety texture. Christian insisted on harvesting the grapes when they are crunchy, ignoring the skins and focusing on the vitality of the grapes, when they have the energy for an elegant fermentation. In 2022, they harvested the grapes very early. 3,100 bottles produced."

"An elegant red, offering flavors of plum sauce, plumped cherry, dried violet, dark chocolate and stone, all married to sculpted tannins that carry a limber feel and creamy edges. Satiny and lingering on the lightly spiced finish. Garnatxa, Carinyena, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink now through 2032. 2,500 cases made, 770 cases imported. –AN"

"The rosé 2021 Gratallops Vi de Villa Rosat was produced with a majority (70% to 80%) in the Planassos part between Mogador and Manyetes of Garnacha, Macabeo and Cariñena plus the grapes from younger vines (Mogador, Nelin...). It has a bright salmon color and a very different and characterful nose, savory, reminiscent of chicken broth (salty!), herbal and super tasty. It's quite direct, with 13.5% alcohol and very good freshness, a bit atypical for Priorat, very long, precise, clean and dry. This matured in a 2,000-liter 10-year-old oak foudre for 18 months. They produced some 3,000 bottles. Brilliant!"

"A fragrant version, with floral, herb and mineral accents. The pureed black raspberry and creamed black cherry fruit flavors are ripe and sweet in this well-structured red, an impression heightened by hints of cola, licorice and mocha. Blood orange peel acidity provides bright, fine balance, and the sculpted tannins show a creamy, well-integrated edge. Garnatxa, Carinyena, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink now through 2034. 5,500 cases made, 1,500 cases imported."
