Mt. Carmel is a steep, south-facing site situated directly below Rita’s Crown. Planted on its own roots to Diatomaceous soil in 1991, Mt. Carmel is farmed organically and without irrigation. This wine shows an abundance of minerality and freshness that is pleasing to the palate with flavors of lime tart and lemongrass. Firm textured with vibrant acidity.
