"Very classy, showing dried strawberries and white pepper as well as crushed-stone and dried-citrus aromas that follow through to a light to medium body with fine tannins and a crisp, polished finish. So beautiful and refined. Succulent and yummy."

"The wine is released to wine club members in Australia, New Zealand and the United States, and there are only 150 cases. The 2022 Sabine Selection Pinot Noir comprises a selection from the vineyard grown on clay in the home block that looked particularly special that vintage. The wine is perfumed and floral, with a milk chocolate splay of creaminess through the finish that distinguishes it from the other cuvšes from this season. Pressed incense, grated nutmeg, pomegranate molasses, raspberry seed and sweet pouch tobacco mingle with dried herbs, crushed rock and brine. The 10X5 clone that plays a bit part in this wine is integral to its expression; it leans into the earthy, savory aspect of the vineyard, while the 667 clone is the pretty, floral, lifted component. Together, they make something quite special‡a beautiful, graceful and mineral wine."
