"Rosemary stalks, violets, fresh plums and brambleberries on the nose of this savory, tight red. It™s medium-bodied with crunchy, lightly stemmy tannins. Lots of tension, even a little austere. 75% whole-cluster fermentation. Drink or hold. 3,420 bottles produced."

"The Crystallum 2024 Overberg Litigo Pinot Noir comes from the same Shaw™s Mountain site as Ferrum and is fermented with 75% whole clusters. It is the most structured of the estate™s 2024 Pinot releases. Darker berry fruit and savory undertones lead into a crisp, clean finish. The higher whole-cluster inclusion lends aromatic lift while reinforcing structure. Elevated Overberg vineyards and iron-rich soils shape a Pinot Noir that balances depth with clarity. Production is limited to 3,420 bottles."

"The 2024 Litigo comes from the Overberg region and uses 75% whole bunch, matured with 25% new French oak. The stem component is very discreet on the nose, allowing the red berry fruit and light tobacco scents. Wonderful delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with fine delineation, quite structured on the entry, although it just needs a tad more flesh and length on the finish. Give it a few months to soften."

"Pale crimson. Fine aromas with a gentle perfume, cranberries and wild strawberries, and then a slight savoury edge † dried herbs and pepper. Fine, light grip on the palate, befitting the crunchy fruit and lively freshness. Has an intriguing bitter-herb twist to long finish. An elegant, delicate but distinctive and highly attractive cool-climate Pinot. Oliver Coleman"
