"The 2021 Pinot Noir (Anderson Valley) is a gorgeous wine that immediately announces the pedigree of the vintage. Crushed flowers, bright red-toned fruit, blood orange, cinnamon and rose petal open first, framed by silky tannins that lead into the persistent, nuanced finish. This is seriously impressive, especially with aeration. Exotic spiced overtones linger."

"A deep ruby color, the 2021 Pinot Noir Anderson Valley is expressive and lush with aromas of black cherry, alpine herbs, tea leaf, and menthol. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the palate with juicy fruit and fine tannins, with a notable, savory, mouthwatering, salty touch throughout. It is drinking well now and will be best over the coming 5-6 years."

"Previously bottled under the Alesia label, the 2021 Pinot Noir Anderson Valley is laden with aromas of evergreen, black cherries and crushed chalk. The palate balances soft approachability and dark-fruited, lacy concentration. The finish shows impressive length and meaty intensity, concluding with a soft, graceful landing. This will certainly gain dimension with time in the cellar but is primed for enjoyment now."

"Smoothed-out aromas of dark berry and plum pick up lots of baking and barrel spice on the nose of this jammy bottling. The palate is ripe, with stewed fig flavors that are balanced by decent acidity and slender tannins."

"Succulent, with generous linzer torte and raspberry notes showing focus and energy as bramble, pine forest and red tea accents add range through the finish. Shows the textbook Anderson Valley profile."

"A pretty, red-fruited nose of dried flowers, citrus peels and touches of underbrush drives the 2020 Alesia Pinot Noir Anderson Valley. The palate is light-bodied with a bright, succulent core that transitions to a vibrant finish with fine, drying tannins. Whether one opts for the Anderson Valley or Santa Cruz Mountains bottling, the Alesia label continues to provide immense value and great potential in the cellar."

"The 2018 Alesia Pinot Noir Anderson Valley is sourced exclusively from the Bearwallow Vineyard, perennially making for one of the best value propositions for California Pinot Noir. The nose is harmonious and nuanced, balancing bright red fruits, autumn leaves and dried roses. The palate is medium-bodied with admirable richness and precision, concluding on an upright, tensile finish that's beginning to show the integration of its tannins. This is in a beautiful place and should continue to be for the next 4-5 years."
