"The 2025 Riesling Noble R Beerenauslese is a non-site-specific Pradikat. The fruit is chiefly from the Zeltinger Sonnenuhr but supplemented by fruit from other sites. The last time this wine was made was in 2018. Smooth peachiness spreads gently on the nose, guided by ripe Amalfi lemon. More air adds a dried lemon lift and seemingly orange-scented honeycomb. The palate becomes daringly intense with ripest fruit, with the juiciest zestiness. This is as super-sweet as it is super-tart on this wonderful tightrope of a palate that stays on course, with utter balance without ever tipping in the favor of one side. (Luscious)"
