"A briny manzanilla pasada with esparto, almonds, olives and crusted salt. The palate is creamy, elegant, and saline. Fresh, with a savory and persistent finish. An outstanding, elegant Manzanilla Pasada. This comes from a very old solera with an average of 9 years of biological aging. A blend of multiple vineyards. Drink now."

"A Manzanilla Pasada, or gently oxidative style that is extremely rare. Skeletal, briny notes evidence the flor at play, reeling off riffs on chamomile, cheese cloth, gardenia and orange bitters. Yet there is something deeper and more resinous than one,s standard Manzanilla, as the oxidative whims deliver a carnal burr: walnut husk, porcini dashi and caramelized orchard fruits. This is among the most complex wines tasted all year, possibly deserving a higher score. However, I am a firm believer that nothing is perfect. This certainly comes very, very close. Wow! Drink or hold."
