Jung One [jung•waan], which appropriately translates to garden in Korean, is a powerful showcase of the flavors that define Korean food and terroir. Many of the botanicals are locally and sustainably sourced, and the pine needles are hand foraged from trees surrounding the distillery. An exceptional sipping gin, perfect over ice and aromatized with a citrus twist, its robust proof and profile makes it perfect for any cocktail. Try it in a simple Gin & Tonic or allow its spicy botanicals to shine in a Martini!

"Jung One, which means "garden" in Korean, is the first spirit we've encountered that uses the term "single malt gin," and is also the first Korean gin we've sampled at VinePair HQ ‡ and we were overwhelmingly impressed. Part of the trend of gins that showcase locally grown botanicals, it features Korean sansho pepper, baby ginseng, pine needle, and perilla leaves. The malted barley base gives the gin a slightly earthy and savory aroma, and a rich texture on the palate. Meanwhile, the flavor profile pairs traditional gin notes of juniper, coriander, and citrus with the unique influence of Korean ingredients."
