Morishima '25 Plus - Modern Classic' Junmai Daiginjo Sake

- A new modern standard for Junmai Daiginjo sake. Heirloom Omachi rice gives slightly herbal notes to the opulent fruity aromas of pear and apple. Bottled extremely fresh, will show a slight effervescence upon opening
- With the brewery located just steps from the ocean, sea breezes infuse the fruity sake with a faint salinity.
- Pair with rich seafood: fatty tuna, sea urchin, trout roe or caviar.
The Morishima family has been making fine sake since 1869. The front label shows the Oya stone that survived the collapse of the original Morishima stone warehouse that collapsed in the Tohoku earthquake of 2011. The brewery keeps it as a memory of the past, a symbol of resilience, and a reminder of hope for the future.
