"The Saldanha Wine & Spirits Co. NV Swartland Jerepigo No. 12A is crafted from Muscat d,Alexandrie, fortified after two days on the skins and matured in cask to 15% alcohol, with approximately 200 grams per liter of residual sugar. Luminous amber-gold, it bursts with primary floral aromatics‡orange blossom, rose petal and jasmine‡layered with apricot preserve, honeyed citrus peel and sultana. The palate is lavish and mouth-filling yet buoyed by the grape,s natural perfume. Its opulence and sun-dried fruit character recall Passito di Pantelleria, though here expressed through a distinctly Swartland lens."
