"Sourced from Oxfordian limestone soils and plantations with at least 10,000 vines per hectare, Ziereisen's 2020 Jaspis Spätburgunder 10? is a selection of the very best barrels. The nose is open, ripe and generous but also very elegant and balanced, with toasty notes and super ripe cherry aromas. Full-bodied, dense and concentrated yet still juicy and stimulatingly saline on the finish, this is a silky, fresh and balanced Pinot from German and probably also Swiss genetics planted nearly 45 years ago. 13% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted from lot L 25 22 in October 2025."
