Review:
Based on the 2016 vintage complemented by around one-third reserve wines from a solera started in 1998, Dehours' NV Brut Grande Réserve was disgorged in January 2019 with 5.5 grams per liter dosage. Offering up an inviting bouquet of red apples and ripe pears, complemented by hints of elderflower, orange oil and toasted nuts, it's full-bodied, fleshy and generous, with ripe but racy acids, fine depth at the core and a delicate pinpoint mousse. This is already drinking with élan.
