Ginger Eau de Vie, Hans Reisetbauer

Hans is the single largest importer of ginger in the country of Austria. Using a patented technique, Hans is able to convert starch to sugar capturing the spicy and digestive properties of this finicky root. Ginger imported from China is fermented for 15–20 days before distillation, and it takes 31 kg of this vibrant root to make one liter of eau-de-vie. 41.5% ABV
