• Blend of pot and column rums distilled from molasses by Foursquare Master Distiller & Master Blender Richard Seale
• Distilled in a double-retort copper pot still and twin Coffey column still
• Aged 15 years on-site in Barbados; aged 10 years in ex–bourbon barrels and 5 years in ex–Muscatel barrels
• The nose leads with bright notes of caramelized orange peel and nougat with nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice before transitioning to a round, punchy palate exploding with citrus, white peach, lychee, and rich, dark fruit
• No added sugar, coloring, or other additives
• Non-chill filtered; 57% ABV

Hand-selected by Richard Seale himself, Foursquare’s Exceptional Cask Series represents the most unique and coveted rum from this celebrated distillery. Penultimus was primarily aged for ten years in ex–bourbon barrels before being re-barreled in Muscatel wine barrels for an additional five years, layering bright citrus and tropical fruit notes over Foursquare’s rich and herbal rum. As the name may imply, this is the penultimate release of the Exceptional Cask Series and is not to be missed!
