"The pink or pale red 2022 El Porrón de Lara Rosado is clean and harmonious and was bottled without any added sulfur, but it's not a feature in the aromas or balance of the wine, which comes through as fresh, tasty and fine-grained, with elegant chalkiness and a velvety mouthfeel. It's mostly Tempranillo with some Viura, fermented in stainless steel and matured in barrel for eight months. It's serious and could be taken as a mini-red. It's the most elegant of the three rosé bottlings I tasted. 2,676 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2023."
