"Such a lovely, light-red that pays tribute to the traditional porron wines from Castilla y Leon, showing a vibrant, medium ruby-pomegranate hue. Expect bright acidity with chalky red cherries and raspberries and plenty of grilled orange and grapefruit. Medium to full body for a clarete, with a succulent grip of light, fine tannins and a long, pristine finish. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Immense drinkability! Why hold? Drink now."

"The aromatic and juicy red 2023 El Porrón de Lara has contained ripeness and 13.1% alcohol, trying to go back to the wines before 2001, without added aromas or flavors from the wood despite being matured in barrels for 11 months. This is also unfiltered and without added sulfur; it's primary and floral, with a fine thread and a chalky finish. 13,589 bottles produced. it was bottled in September 2024."

"The dark red 2022 El Porrón de Lara has a ripe and heady nose, despite the 13.5% alcohol on the label. It faithfully reflects the warm and dry season, with notes of dark cherries, herbs and spices, notes of soy sauce and a touch of iodine. There is some earthy rusticity here, with some dusty tannins and a dry finish. It's a red for food. It was bottled after 11 months in used oak barrels. 13,020 bottles produced. It was bottled in December 2023."
