"From 100% Vermentinu planted in 1982 on the Ponte-Leccia copper mine, on schist and basalt soils, the 2022 Corse A Mina is an auteur's wine, a wine of great style, deep, textured, and ultra-mineral. Vinified with a short maceration on the skins, then fermented and aged for 18 months in concrete eggs on fine lees, this A Mina is a great 2022. The nose is breathtaking in its complexity of fragrances and power (notes of candied yellow fruit, toasted bread, and white pepper). It's the same on the palate, with a very powerful, spherical, and deep texture. The balance is impeccable, the minerality striking, and the bitters saliva-indusing. We're approaching perfection. Still youthful, it will best from 2028 onward."
