- This wine was made with primarily old vine Chenin Blanc from three farms in the Swartland (Nuweland, Rooidraai and Jakkalsfontein) and a small percentage of young vine Chenin Blanc from Gabriëlskloof
- Hand harvested
- All fruit was whole bunch pressed and 100% wild fermented in different-sized clay amphorae, as well as 400- and 500L older French barrels
- Aged for 10 months on its lees before blending and bottling

"The 2022 Eloise, jocosely described as the "poor man's Cartology" by Peter-Allan Finalyson, is matured in 20% amphora. It has a vivacious bouquet with orchard fruit, grilled hazelnut and a touch of white peach. Good complexity here. The palate is lively on the entry, a zesty Chenin Blanc with lemon sherbet and orange rind towards the finish, with just a faint oiliness coming through with time. Great potential."
