"The 2023 The Moorooduc McIntyre Chardonnay is more restrained than the estate Chardonnay tasted alongside (albeit different vintages), yet the stamp of house style is a strong thread between them. Here, the wine is spicy and long, persistent and restrained, with notes of sandalwood, white peach, apple skins, paraffin wax, white flowers and clove. This is a beautiful wine, very impressive. 13.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap."
