"While the estate Chardonnay is powerful and savory and the Robinson is delicate and spicy, the 2020 The Moorooduc McIntyre Chardonnay is full-throttle in many ways. Boundless fruit rolls into the mouth, littering the palate with peach, stewed apple, fennel flower and hints of brioche; this is verging on opulent (saved by the savory phenolics that trickle through the wine like lifeblood) and vital. This is a really good, powerful Chardonnay, but it's tight too."

"Butter, lemon and apricot on the nose † very nicely balanced, leesy notes. Rounded with emphatic but balanced acid. Light body, underpowered, fairly simple. (RH)"
