"Disgorged in January 2022 and based on the 2019 vintage, Brochet's NV Extra-Brut Blanc de Noirs Léon Tome III derives from the 2019 vintage, the third year of his project and before he had introduced appreciable percentages of new wood into his barrel régime. Offering up aromas of pear, cherries, white flowers and sweet pastry, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with an intensely flavored core of fruit underpinned by a tangy spine of acidity and chalky extract."
