"Tasted from magnum, the 2016 Brut Blanc de Blancs is 100% Chardonnay from the Alouettes, Ruelles and Montmedy lieux-dits in Villers-Marmery, done in 60% tank and 40% barrel with blocked malolactic fermentation. It's a very pretty, open-knit Champagne that is just starting to enter its first plateau of maturity. Yellow orchard fruit, marzipan, white flowers, mint, chamomile and tangerine oil fill out the layers effortlessly. Dosage is 8 grams per liter. Disgorged: November 2024."
