• Cask-aged aquavit produced by Norden Spirits in Chelsea, Michigan
• Made with Norden’s flagship “Taffell-Style” aquavit
• Botanicals include caraway, dill, clementine, coriander, angelica, orris, juniper, clary sage, sumac, and anise; all botanicals have been locally foraged or sourced except for the clementine, which is sourced from a family-owned co-op in California
• Base distillate is 100% organic Midwest-grown neutral corn spirit
• The base distillate and botanicals are distilled together once in a copper pot still
• Aged a minimum of 1 year in 1st-fill American rye whiskey barrels
• Freshly cut mint leaf and clover honey on the nose introduces a palate big in caraway, complemented by light citrus and a delicate sweetness imparted by the oak; honey and floral notes linger in a soft take on the original Norden expression
• No added coloring or sugar
• Non-chill filtered; bottled at a cask strength of 53.5% ABV (ABV may vary batch to batch)

Tasting Notes

Norden’s Original Taffel (or table) Style Aquavit is aged exclusively in once-used American rye barrels for a minimum of one year for this versatile, aged aquavit. Freshly cut mint leaf and clover honey on the nose introduce a palate big in caraway that is complemented by light citrus and a delicate sweetness imparted by the oak. Honey and floral notes linger in this gentle evolution of the original Norden expression. Bottled at a cask strength of 53.5% ABV (ABV may vary batch to batch); no color added and non-chill filtered.
