"The 2022 Carignan comes from the Evangelho Vineyard in Contra Costa County, planted in the 1890s. The nose is pure and inviting: black cherries and blueberries mingle with wafts of lavender, cocoa powder and desert herbs. The light-bodied palate is bursting with crunchy berry fruit. It™s structured by softly chalky tannins, and its vibrance calls you in to take another sip. It will pair widely at the table."
