Fiddler Georgia Heartwood Bourbon Whiskey

• Cask strength, wheated bourbon whiskey aged, finished, and bottled by ASW Distillery in Atlanta, Georgia
• Distilled at MGP in Indiana
• Mash bill of 51% corn, 45% wheat, and 4% malted barley
• Aged a minimum 5 years; aged 4 years in new, char #4, 53-gallon American oak barrels, then 1–2 years in secondary new, charred American oak barrels, and finished for 1–6 months with Georgian white oak staves
• A minimum of 10 hand-charred staves are used per cask (stave count is indicated on the front label)
• An enticing nose of toasted brioche and Portuguese custard tarts leads to a bracing palate with notes of lemon and white peppercorn and a hint of arugula on the finish
• No added color
• Non-chill filtered; bottled at a cask strength ranging from 115–118 proof

ASW distillery uses staves made from storm-felled Georgian white oak for this marquee, triple-oaked expression. The wood is seasoned for over two years and the resulting staves are then hand-charred before being added to each cask, imbuing each dialed-in batch with unique character.
