"This powerful, multifaceted sparkling wine breaks the sound barrier for Austria. Incredible candied-citrus, dried-pear and leesy complexity with delicate red-berry notes. Terrific concentration on the medium- to full-bodied palate, where the gentle mousse lifts the intense finish spectacularly."

"The 2016 Extra Brut Blanc de Noirs is a pure Pinot Noir that spent more than 60 months on lees. Vivid lemon suffuses fresh, springy yeast pastry on the nose, surrounded by plum, red apple and stone. The palate is taut and bright, beautifully streamlined and fizzing with fine, delicate mousse on this structured, concentrated body. There is almost an echo of minty freshness on the long finish. Classy, elegant, structured and so fresh, with a long way to go. Dosage is 4 grams per liter. Disgorged: August 2023."
