Old gold color, this wine has a pungent and aromatic bouquet, reminiscent of the sea air of the Andalusian coastline. This is a classic Amontillado from Sanlúcar. Hazelnuts comes forward on the palate, with a light and attractive acidity. This wine is appreciated for its style and elegance, and has a long, dry finish.

" This bottling from Almacenista Manuel Cuevas is the evolution of the Manzanilla Pasadawhich I also rated very highly. It adds a reduced note and a brothy umami intensity. It is on the palate that this truly excels, with a purity of silky white almond and an excitinglymaritime expression of Sanl£car. Elegance embodied."

"Punchy and tangy nose with subtle caramel, pecans, dried papaya and roasted sweet potato on top of the briny sourdough character. Saline and bone-dry on the palate with plenty of dried fruit and gingerbread to the center palate. Long and intense, but quite textured for Amontillado. Drink now."
