Chateau Robin

Chateau Robin is an histroic estate in the Cotes de Castillon in Bourdeaux, having been mentioned in the third edition of the Guide Féret in 1874! The domaine has been in Caillé family hands since 2003, when Jean and Laurence Caillé decided to move from the French Island La Réunion to pursue their dream of making their own Bordeaux wine. Their oldest son Jerome fell in love with the estate in just one visit, and has since taken over the domaine’s ideal in making highest quality Côtes de Castillon possible. The flagship cuvee is made fro mostly Merlot grown on a steep, east facing, limestone slope. Only hand harvesting is employed and the wines are aged in a combination of barrique and concrete. This is pure, classic, right bank Bordeaux at its finest.
