First registered in 1943, Atamán is a small batch vermut built on the shoulders of Manzanilla sherry. Classic Andalusian botanicals like orange peel from Seville, wormwood, rosemary and elderberry dominate the botanical roster while, uniquely, the vermut is also blended with a small portion of old vermouth and quinine wines which have been aging in the cellars since the 1970’s.
While Atamán is perfectly utilized in cocktails, it also stands out on its own over ice with an orange twist. Truly one of the world’s most unique vermouths!
