It’s rare to see oak-aged mezcal outside of a handful of industrial options. (Agave de Cortés is of course the polar opposite, a small producer offering traditional mezcal made with integrity and care.) A warming balance of cooked agave, oven, and oak, Agave de Cortés Añejo generously offers a welcoming gateway to mezcal newcomers and a nuanced rarity to jaded agave heads alike.
