"Offers lush flavors of black cherry and boysenberry compote layered with fragrant espresso crema, ganache, violet and anise, while fresh acidity and a tang of iron provide balance. Expressive and medium- to full-bodied, with creamy tannins delivering good tension and definition through the lasting finish. Drink now through 2030. - AN"

"Black currants, black plums, cracked pepper, roasted thyme and soy on the nose. It™s deep, savory and mineral, with a full body and firm but very fine tannins. Long and focused. Drink or hold."

"The 2019 Syrah Single Vineyards Series Steepside comes from the oldest north-facing plot of Syrah, planted in 2005. It has an introspective bouquet that becomes quite floral with time. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins and a keen line of acidity. Black olive tones mix with gravelly notes that fan out beautifully on the finish. This certainly needs time, but it will be worth the wait‡a great sappy Syrah."
