"The 2023 Rumbo al Norte was the only wine from 2023 that was still not bottled. I tasted it from concrete, where it was put after aging in foudre in December 2024. The wine feels really harmonious and relaxed, expressive and aromatic, floral and elegant, with the spice and the fine-grained, silty tannins from Villanueva. It has energy and magic, ethereal and elegant, with extreme finesse. It looks really, really promising. It's not as showy as the 2023 Tumba del Rey Moro; it's subtler, calm, complete and complex. It should be bottled in February or March 2026. There should be around 1,200 bottles."
