"From Cordov¡n in the Najerilla Valley, the 2024 CDVIN is Garnacha. Rosehip, orange peel, pomegranate, fresh elderberry and a gentle herbal-floral lift lead the nose. Slim and nervy, with very fine, almost imperceptible tannins, the wine moves with agility and elevated expression. In this weightless style, it is a Garnacha with a distinct sense of place."

"The palest and most delicate of the reds was the 2024 Anza CDVIN, which wants to express the character of Garnacha in the Alto Najerilla Valley, fresh and with identity. It was produced with a mixture of grapes from Tejares in Cordov¡n and Pornadilla in Badar n, both from old vines, from a rainy year (681 liters). The grapes were harvested quickly from the 19th of September, with low yields. It fermented destemmed in plastic bins with indigenous yeasts and matured in two 500-liter barrels. It has only 13% alcohol, with an ethereal quality, and it's perfumed and elegant, fine-boned and subtle. It gets more and more floral with time in the glass, going back to the style of the 2021. Stunning! 1,200 bottles produced. It was bottled in September 2025."

"The 2021 Anza CDVIN was produced with Garnacha grapes (and some Viura) from an old vineyard in the village of Cordov¡n and another one in Badar n, fermented destemmed in stainless steel and matured in used 500-liter barrels. It has the best floral nuances you can expect from Garnacha‡clean, elegant and complex. It has a velvety tannins with a very fine chalky texture, pristine flavors and a long, lingering finish. This is delicious already but should only get better with time in bottle. 1,200 bottles produced. It was bottled in September 2022."

"An expressive delivery with nimble, racy red berries, cherries, grapefruit, hibiscus, minerals and oyster shells. Fluid yet structured, but the tannins are fresh and caressing. Not as powerful as San Vincente de la Sonsierra, but more drinkable and polished. Drink or hold."

"The 2021 CDVIN is a vibrant red hailing from the western slopes of Rioja, which imparts a taut and pristine character. Producers are championing this wine style and labeling their products as CDVIN to elevate Cordovín on the Rioja map. The 2021 is a prime example. Composed of 97% Garnacha and 3% Viura, it exhibits a garnet color and reveals aromas of grapefruit, blood orange, cherry and herbs, with subtle hints of gunpowder and camphor. On the palate, it is dry, juicy and tart, with a chalky texture that offers a refreshing and nimble flow. This is definitely one to savor."

"The heady, ripe, showy and aromatic 2022 Anza CDVIN surprised me because the label showed "only" 13.5% alcohol, but the sensation is of high ripeness and some heat, with notes of ripe Garnacha and a touch of soy sauce. It was produced with a mixture of grapes from Tejares in Cordov¡n and Pornadilla in Badar n, both from old vines, and it fermented destemmed in plastic bins with indigenous yeasts and matured in two 500-liter barrels. It has abundant, slightly dusty tannins and is a little more rustic than its siblings. 2022 was very warm, and yields were much lower than in 2021. 1,430 bottles produced. It was bottled in September 2023."

"A well-spiced red, fluid and balanced, offering a bright and accessible range of crushed boysenberry and strawberry fruit, wild thyme and granite notes. The fine tannins are lightly chewy on the finish. Drink now through 2030. 119 cases made, 25 cases imported."
