"Angular, saline and vertical, this reflects the house and regional styles. Direct, with a delineated thread of fruit and characteristic maritime sharpness. Its precision and straightforwardness are part of its charm. An exceptional value. Drink now."

"This is the wine that keeps the lights on at Albamar, according to Xurxo Alba, who makes 90,000 bottles of it every year. Made with grapes from 20 local growers, it's a foudre and stainless steel fermented Albariño that spends eight months on its lees. Great value for money, it has aromas of hawthorn blossom and jasmine, a hint of oak spice, lemon zest flavours and a tangy, granite-etched finish. 2025-29"

"The 2024 Albamar is the entry-level white here, produced with grapes from different plots. It's still very young, but it has no reduction. It is a bit shy but shows clean and precise, serious and austere beyond the varietal notes, with good ripeness and very good balance and a dry, chalky finish. It has 13% alcohol and integrated acidity. I think 2024's main characteristic is balance."

"The 2024 Albariño is from Castrelo, Salnés. It aged in stainless steel and in foudre. This offers lime and apple aromas with delicate orange blossom and a subtle oak undertone. The palate is malic, slightly creamy and tense, with a faint lactic note."

"Xurxo Alba's biggest production Albari¤o uses grapes from 60 different parcels in the SalnšsValley, most of which are farmed organically. Impressive for an entry-point wine, it combinesstainless steel and 40% foudre-aged components, offering notes of beeswax and wet stones, steely acidity and a mineral core. 2024-29."

"The eponymous 2021 Albamar comes from many different Albari¤o plots, owned and rented on different soils but mostly granite. The juice from the pressing of the full clusters fermented and matured in stainless steel, and 30% to 40% of the wine was kept in oak foudre with lees for six to eight months. The aim is a wine that represents the house style: approachable, fresh and easy to drink, with moderate alcohol (12.5% in this case) and good freshness. There are smoky leesy notes, citrus hints and a medium-bodied, fresh palate. 80,000 bottles were produced."

"Aromas of limes and green apples with a salty note. The palate is nervy, medium- bodied, textural and incisive. This comes from diverse parcels situated less than 100 meters from the Umia River delta. Drink now."

"The eponymous flagship village white 2023 Albamar comes from many different Albari¤o plots, owned and rented, on different soils but mostly granite. The juice from the pressing of the full clusters fermented and matured in stainless steel and oak foudres where it was kept with the lees for eight months. It has clarity, purity and transparency, which seems to define the 2023 vintage, and it is floral and perfumed but serious, with a vibrant palate. It is easy to drink, with moderate alcohol (12.5%), good freshness, a pH of 3.18 and 7.8 grams of acidity and finishes with a salty touch. It's very tasty, one of the finest vintages‡if not the finest‡for this bottling, which has also grown in volume. 95,000 bottles were produced. It was bottled in April 2024."

"There is great regularity in the eponymous Albari¤o that blends different vineyards, bringing the freshness and the coastal influence into the wine. The 2022 Albamar, despite coming from a warmer and drier year, keeps a moderate alcoholic degree and has a balanced palate with the austerity of the granite, a little wider than the 2021 but still harmonious. 80,000 bottles were produced."

"The 2023 Albariño Albamar, from Castrelo, Salnés, Rías Baixas, aged in foudres for eight months, presents a yellow-green hue with aromas of white fruit, wilted flowers, apple, mandarin and a hint of wafer. The creamy entry offers bright acidity and a flavorful, expressive character."

"Tasted blind. Stone fruit, yellow flowers, quite a rich texture, an ample palate with cutting acidity. It is a rich white wine, very appetising. On the palate, multi-layered, with stone fruit, mineral, with creaminess and a soft touch of oakiness. This is a great bottle of wine. (FC)"
