"The fruit for this wine was harvested in 2025, although the Retsina category does not carry vintage dates under Greek appellation law. The Mylonas Winery NV Retsina offers a fresh, contemporary take on Greece's historic wine style. Using a small amount of fresh Aleppo pine resin harvested each summer, Stamatis Mylonas seeks an herbal accent rather than the medicinal character associated with older examples. Notes of rosemary, anise, menthol and Mediterranean botanicals frame the fruit without overwhelming it, allowing both elements to remain in balance. Light-bodied, vibrant and highly food-friendly, this is a convincing modern Retsina that pairs easily with finger foods, tapas and casual Mediterranean fare."
