"The nose is lifted and perfumed, with aromas of red currants, potpourri and orange rind. The palate is medium-bodied with finely integrated tannins and bright notes of tea leaves, cassia bark, saltbush and dark cherries. Wonderfully balanced and giving. Very good. Drink or hold. Screw cap."

"The 2023 Pinot Noir is coastal and briny, with tapenade, black cherries, anise and bay leaf. In the mouth, the wine carries the same freshness as the nose, while bolstering from dry spice only adds to the attraction. This is an elegant, sophisticated wine."

"The reserved 2019 Pinot Noir Estate delivers layers of spicy mushroom aromas underpinned by dark cherry and mulberry complexity. Showing a little development with earthy and meaty tones, it is now supple and settled, with integrated tannins and soft acidity providing a gentle frame and good drinkability over the short term."

"Absolutely prototypical in its pale colour, crunchy red fruit and stemmy complexity. The lightest, coolest style of Pinot Noir that has wonderful expressiveness even when served at around 8 celcius. There's a beetroot and rhubarb note that stands this apart from other fruit-centric Pinots. Drinkable now, but with tons of ageability. Impeccable. (RH) 13%"

"Bright crimson colour, perfumed and precise with lifted peony and violet floral notes alongside red cherry, green strawberry, five spice-edged plum sauce and darker blackcurrant and beetroot intensity. Ripe but present taffeta tannins allow some play to the fruit but contain it on the tightly-wound finish. A similar composition and vinification to the 2016, yet this is fresh and very youthful, almost the polar opposite in a milder, lower-yielding year."

"Fresh earth and roasted herb notes are dominant, with elements of tar, smoke and five-spice powder mingling with the black cherry and currant flavors at the core. Muscular tannins add to the intensity. Drink now through 2037."
