"The 2025 Young Vine Pinot Meunier leads with watermelon and strawberry, star anise, pink peppercorns and sandalwood. This is lacy and delicate, with an attractive base of finely wrought yet subtle grainy tannins. The red fruit/flowers of Pinot Meunier rise to dominance here‡what gorgeous wine. Fresh, saline acidity marks the finish. This is very pretty. 13 % alcohol, sealed under screw cap.The fruit for this wine comes from Pinot Meunier vines that were grown from cuttings using the original Pinot Meunier vines planted on the property in 1866, which are still healthy and producing fruit today."
